DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION:
This is an original, vintage copy of the first and only printing of this FILLMORE ERA concert handbill, fully guaranteed to have been produced prior to the 1971 concert, to promote the SPRINGER's show in Portland, Oregon.
It is in pristine MINT / MINT- condition, there are no markings, creases, pin holes or stains - no damage of any kind. Paper and ink are and unfaded.   See 1200 dpi scan.
This handbill was found in a stash of unused tickets, posters and handbills acquired from a 1960's & 1970's Portland, OR concert promoter, in the early 90's.  All of these items will be listed on Ebay.  All are originals, printed prior to the concert dates in all cases, fully guaranteed! - NO reproductions.
The handbill was printed on thin, white paper stock, at CORBERRY PRESS in Portland and is one of THE most colorful of the late 1960's and early 1970's Portland concert handbills (most Portland handbills were black & white or one color on white paper).  Mr. Corberry literally wore out his presses printing the Springer's concert posters created by BRUCE WEBER , CATHERINE E. WEINSTEIN (aka THUNDERBITCH ..honored for her envelope stretching concert posters at an art exhibit at the TETHER GALLERY in SEATTLE, WA in 2010 entitled "THUNDERBITCH" which included work by a plethora of other noted women concert poster designers from the Pacific Northwest, from the 1960's through 2010, visit thunderbitch.com to view the art exhibit catalog, featuring Catherine's tumultuous bio as well as full color images of some of her coolest PSYCHEDELIC concert posters), JIM BLASHFIELD (former Bill Graham / FILLMORE concert poster artist and internationally reknowned MTV music video artist), DORC, GARY EWING, MCGUINESS and others.
