This is an original blank back handbill (approx. 8 1/2" x 11", and printed prior to the the shows on thin stock) that was used to promote a series of shows featuring the Daily Flash & Country Joe & the Fish. These shows were presented by the Family Dog, and took place October 20 & 21, 1966 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. This classic psychedelic image, EDGAR ALLEN POE", comes courtesy of Stanley Mouse & Alton Kelley, and is the 31st image in the Family Dog series. This handbill has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, and remains in EXCELLENT condition (lightly pushed lower left corner...VERY nice piece). This is guaranteed to be ORIGINAL Family Dog handbill, and we will gladly issue a COA upon request.
